Job summary

Vultr is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join our global customer success team. You will provide advanced technical support for our cloud infrastructure and services, act as an escalation point, and mentor teammates to improve incident response and documentation.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with engineering and system admins, and help maintain enterprise environments while contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
• Experience with Linux systems and CLI troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments in cloud/IaaS.
• Excellent customer service and communication under pressure.
• Able to work independently in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• GPU service delivery knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services.
• Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact, troubleshoot, escalate as needed.
• Lead incident analysis, root cause investigations, and recommend preventive actions.
• Coordinate with system administration, engineering, networking to resolve issues.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions based on analysis.
• Support resolution of escalated complaints with analysis and updates.
• Serve as escalation point for Technical Support Specialists.
• Create and maintain internal knowledge base and procedures.
• Maintain and support enterprise customer environments, troubleshoot performance/availability/config issues.
• Serve as subject matter expert, setting diagnostic standards.
• Participate in a 24/7 team-based operations environment with shifts.
