Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a SR Network Design Specialist to design, implement, and secure our network infrastructure. You will provide architecture guidance, leadership, and strategic planning across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud environments.

You will oversee deployments, monitor performance, and drive security controls while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with IT, security, and application teams. This role requires strong vendor and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of direct work experience in large-scale networks.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF/BGP) and MPLS-based networks.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper JunOS, IPSEC/SSL VPNs.
• Strong Windows 10 and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Team-oriented, self-driven with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure network solutions (LAN/WAN/WLAN/cloud).
• Lead installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Oversee upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal downtime.
• Monitor performance, uptime, reliability, and conduct RCA.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, SOPs, and configs.
