Qualifications

B.S. in related field or equivalent IT experience.
Firewall experience.
Understanding of network threat concepts and defense strategies.
Experience documenting designs, configurations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Design LAN, CAN, WAN data, voice and video architecture.
Configure routing: BGP, OSPF, MPLS; optimize network paths.
Analyze networking metrics and detect sub-par performance.
Develop reports and trend analyses on bandwidth and security incidents.
Provide training and mentoring to contractors and government personnel on Cisco devices and LAN technologies.
Plan, deploy and upgrade enterprise datacenter hardware/software on project timelines.
Provide general IT management and networking support as required.
