Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Network Manager to lead design, deployment, and operation of enterprise networks across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

This role directs a small team of Network Administrators, ensuring secure, available, and scalable infrastructure aligned with DoD requirements and industry best practices. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• 8140 certification within 6 months of employment or ability to obtain it.
• Experience with hybrid and cloud networking environments (Azure).
• Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, routing, VPN, and NGFW.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise network architectures.
• Build, install, configure, upgrade, and validate network hardware and operating systems.
• Monitor network health and performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Lead network engineering initiatives and mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, DoD requirements, and NIST RMF.
• Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and program stakeholders to deliver resilient solutions.
