Job summary

SHR is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to shape our network architecture, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive adoption of advanced network technologies.

Responsibilities include strategic design, documentation, and security oversight, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions in a fast-paced Federal civilian, defense, and intelligence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Advanced cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure); CISSP; advanced Cisco certs (CCNP/CCIE).

Responsibilities

Strategic Network Design and Implementation: Lead design and implementation of network architectures.
Advanced Documentation and Network Management: Develop and maintain network diagrams and docs.
Leadership and Collaboration: Guide junior engineers and collaborate across departments.
Expert Troubleshooting and Operational Support: Troubleshoot complex network issues and oversee upgrades.
Capacity Planning and Security Oversight: Plan capacity and conduct security audits.
IP Strategy and Management: Oversee IP allocation and network strategies.
Innovation and Technology Leadership: Drive next-gen networking projects and investments.
