Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer to evaluate, design, and implement a comprehensive network infrastructure for a large-scale project, including wired and wireless components. You will interface with government personnel, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure testing, vulnerability assessments, and QA support for the new setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS, Business, information systems or related discipline.
• CWNA and BCNE certifications or equivalent.
• Experience with RF site surveys (Ekahau, RF Scanners, Wireshark).
• Strong layer 2 switching, layer 3 routing, VLANs, OSPF, VRRP.
• Knowledge of network security: 802.1x, RADIUS, certificates.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NPS network infrastructure.
• Improve monitoring and reporting with network management software.
• Develop and maintain network infrastructure documentation.
• Review practices and provide architecture/design recommendations.
• Administer Cloudpath onboarding, monitor wireless health, apply security patches.
