Job summary

CGS seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer II to evaluate, enhance, and maintain a large-scale network project spanning wired and wireless infrastructure. The role involves interfacing with government personnel, stakeholders, and vendors, plus conducting testing, vulnerability assessments, and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• CWNA certification or equivalent.
• BCNE certification or equivalent.
• RF site survey tools such as Ekahau, RF scanners, and Wireshark.
• Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing (VLANs, 802.1w, OSPF, VRRP).
• Network security (802.1x, RADIUS, ACLs, CA).
• Disaster recovery planning, testing, or projects.
• Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment experience.
• Agile/Scrum project management experience.

Responsibilities
