Qualifications

• 8 years of network, infrastructure, or SRE engineering experience in latency-sensitive environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with multicast networking, BGP/OSPF/VRFs and data-center switching.
• Proven incident response leadership for production trading systems.
• Experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and telemetry.
• Familiarity with exchange/trading system concepts; crypto experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own, operate, and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and data-center infrastructure for institutional trading and exchange connectivity.
• Design routing, traffic segmentation, and market-data architectures with BGP, OSPF, VRFs, and high-availability platforms.
• Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Drive observability and automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Lead safe production changes, incident response, and on-call rotations for 24/7 trading systems.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across SRE/Infra, Product, and trading-system teams.
