Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Lead for the Exchange team to own the network infrastructure, deployment, and tooling behind a unified trading platform across cloud and on-prem environments. You will ensure ultra-low latency, high reliability, and scalable connectivity for institutional trading.

You will design routing, network security, and observability, mentor engineers, and lead on-call rotations, with the ownership mindset of a startup and the reach of Coinbase.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in network, infrastructure, or SRE with production ownership.
• Deep multicast networking, BGP, OSPF, VRFs, and low-latency data-center switching.
• Lead live incident response for production trading systems and coordinate resolution.
• Experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs; SNMP or gRPC telemetry.
• Strong Linux networking fundamentals in latency-critical environments.
• Familiarity with exchange/electronic trading concepts; crypto experience is a plus.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Aufgaben

• Own, operate, and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and data-center infrastructure.
• Design and maintain routing, traffic-segmentation, and multicast market-data architectures.
• Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity across platforms.
• Drive observability and automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Lead safe production changes, incident response, and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with SRE/Infra, Product, and trading teams.
