Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer-Network to lead networking strategy for prospects and customers. As part of the Specialty Solutions Engineering team, you will help size, configure, and position network and security solutions, collaborating with sales and vendor partners to drive complex deals.

You will act as a technical thought leader, defining strategy, comparing approaches, and building key client relationships across campus wired/wireless, data center, and cloud networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Pre-Sales and Data Center experience is required.
• Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working as a technical lead in a pre-sales campaign.

Responsibilities

• Participation, Leadership and Coordination of the AHEAD virtual team for Network Infrastructure.
• Maintain vendor technical and sales relationships with partners and selected vendors.
• Design, architect, and consult for Ahead clients as a Network Specialist.
• Build skills, relationships, and credibility to drive product, services and consulting sales.
• Support sales teams with advice, solutions, or proposals aligned to customer requirements.
• Develop relationships with account managers, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
• Strategize and execute technical sales calls.
• Complete pre-sales documentation quickly and accurately.
