Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead (AWS) to drive modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native services on AWS. You will collaborate with AWS leads, architects, QA, product owners, and offshore teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will mentor offshore developers, optimize data architectures, and guide automated testing and CI/CD practices to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying microservices or distributed apps.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T‑SQL.
• Hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, SQS/SNS/EventBridge).
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/API).
• Leadership experience managing offshore development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs for cloud-native migration on AWS.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, and best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure successful delivery of features.
• Mentor offshore teams and remove blockers with regular progress updates.
• Modernize legacy data architectures by moving logic from SQL Server stored procedures to scalable C# services with automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure, reliable deployments per standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to boost productivity while ensuring code quality and security.
