Job summary

1Password is seeking a Senior Developer to own end-to-end delivery of complex features in a remote-capable role for US/Canada. You will work with a team to design robust software, maintain high quality through code reviews, tests, and docs, and mentor peers.

You will apply practical agentic AI improvements to workflows and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong working knowledge of .NET/C#/MongoDB or similar.
• Ability to tackle large, complex engineering problems with a high degree of independence.
• Subject matter expert in team features; identify gaps and leave code better than found.
• Champion technical innovation; evaluate and advocate for worthwhile tools and approaches.
• Set a high bar for code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply practical, agentic AI approaches to improve development workflows.
• Mentor less experienced developers through pairing and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of complex features end-to-end with minimal guidance.
• Lead technical design discussions; write design documents and surface risks early.
• Establish and uphold best practices in testing, quality, and observability.
• Partner with product managers and designers to understand user problems and tradeoffs.
• Share practical AI learnings with the team to create real leverage.
