1Password seeks a Staff Engineer to lead the Device Infrastructure Services team, driving DevOps transformation, GitOps adoption, and AI-enabled operations across ~2,000 endpoints. You’ll coach engineers, build scalable systems, and shape the roadmap in a remote‑friendly environment.

This senior role requires 7+ years in IT and endpoint management, strong scripting (Bash, Python) and Terraform, plus security fundamentals. USA/Canada roles with competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT and enterprise endpoint management experience.
• Experience leading senior or staff-level ICs.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate IT operations.
• Proven ability to define and drive technical roadmaps.
• Strong scripting and IaC ability (Bash, Python, Terraform).
• Knowledge of endpoint security fundamentals (encryption, patching, EDR).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of Device Infrastructure Services.
• Lead DevOps model adoption across the IT fleet.
• Pilot AI integrations with guardrails and human checks.
• Act as escalation point for high-severity endpoint incidents.
