You will mentor engineers, balance rapid iteration with secure architecture, and influence product direction with a strong customer-focused mindset. This remote role supports US/Canada teams and offers impactful growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development in a production SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in Go and building public APIs and distributed backend services.
• Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction across teams.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a growth mindset and a bias toward continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and operating asynchronous, event‑driven, or queue‑based distributed systems at scale.
• Strong product mindset with empathy for customers and a focus on delivering high‑quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable notification systems for administrators across email and integration channels.
• Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
• Balance rapid iteration with long‑term architectural health and security.
• Set an example in code reviews by evaluating code quality, architectural alignment, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
• See your work directly influence measurable customer and business outcomes.
