Job summary

The State of Washington is seeking an IT Application Development Senior/Specialist to serve as the technical lead for Agile product teams and mentor staff in .NET technologies. The role focuses on strategic planning for custom applications and SaaS solutions to support agency-wide functions.

Candidates should reside in Washington or be willing to relocate. Hybrid and remote work options are available, with a preference for in-state collaboration and on-site resources when needed.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience developing and enhancing applications using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with unit testing and applying development standards in a managed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile product teams as technical lead for development of highly visible systems.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using .NET, SaaS, and/or COTS with standards compliance.
• Mentor other developers and coordinate between multiple technical teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain applications, interfaces, and web services; analyze and troubleshoot technical problems.
