Job summary

AES Clean Energy is seeking a NERC Operations Senior Analyst to support the compliance program and ensure adherence to NERC reliability standards across O&P activities.

Reporting to the NERC Operations Team Leader, you will gather evidence, coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and IT teams, and help implement NERC standards like FAC, PRC, and EOP. A bachelor’s degree and 3–7+ years of inverter-based resource experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in inverter-based resource operations, maintenance, or testing.
• Experience implementing NERC standards (FAC-008, EOP-012, PRC-004/005/028/029/030).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Regulatory teams.

Responsibilities

• Support O&P compliance processes and field activities for key NERC O&P standards.
• Collect, organize, and provide compliance evidence for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Update on NERC standards and coordinate implementation with multiple business units.
• Assist in change management and continuous improvement of compliance processes.
