Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. NC3 Systems Engineer to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) NC3 Portfolio Acquisition Executive and Integration Directorate.

The role requires on-site work at multiple locations including El Segundo, CA, with up to 20% travel and active Top-Secret clearance with SCI access. You will provide communications systems engineering expertise, interface with senior leadership, and help ensure enterprise integration across diverse customer sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• 12+ years of industry or USAF experience is required.
• Familiarity with Nuclear Command, Control & Communications tech.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and digital engineering.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications systems engineering expertise to AFNWC staff.
• Engage with AFNWC leadership up to SES level Portfolio Acquisition Executive.
• Interface with the ETG workforce across El Segundo and other Aerospace locations.
• Support development, evaluation, and validation of system-level requirements.
• Present technical status briefings to management and customers.
