This role requires 12+ years of relevant experience, a STEM degree, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access. The position involves on-site work at multiple defense facilities, extensive coordination with AFNWC leadership, and travel about 20% to support program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of experience (US citizenship and security clearance required).
• Experience with Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) concepts and systems.
• Knowledge of terrestrial networks, line-of-sight and space-based communications, and nuclear survivability.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent communications systems engineering support to AFNWC leadership at Hanscom AFB.
• Engage with AFNWC senior leadership up to SES levels and coordinate with ETG workforce.
• Develop, evaluate, and validate system-level requirements for NC3 programs.
• Lead design reviews and present status briefs to management and customers.
• Travel ~20% domestically to support program needs.
