Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. NC3 Systems Engineer to support AFNWC NC3 programs. This on-site role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI and possible SAP access, with travel about 20% across designated bases.

You will provide expert communications systems engineering, engage leadership up to SES, and coordinate reach-back support with Aerospace teams nationwide. A STEM degree and extensive experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited STEM program.
12+ years of industry or USAF experience.
Familiarity with Nuclear Command, Control & Communications systems and related networks.
Knowledge of National Military Command System enterprise architecture, digital engineering, open standards, and mission analysis.
Willing to travel domestically approximately 20%.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and ability to obtain SAP; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Provide communications systems engineering expertise to AFNWC staff and leadership at Hanscom AFB.
Engage with senior AFNWC leadership up to SES level Portfolio Acquisition Executive.
Interface for reach-back activities with ETG workforce in El Segundo, CA and other Aerospace locations.
Support development, evaluation, and validation of system-level requirements.
Build bridges across diverse customers for enterprise integration and efficiency.
