Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Sr. NC3 Systems Engineer to support the AFNWC NC3 Portfolio Acquisition Executive and Integration Directorate at multiple sites, delivering communications systems engineering and system-level requirements guidance.

You will engage senior leadership, coordinate reach-back activities, and drive enterprise integration while ensuring mission assurance across programs. Requires a STEM degree, 12+ years of experience, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a STEM field.
• 12 or more years of industry or USAF experience.
• Familiarity with Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (terrestrial networks; space-based comms; EMP effects).
• National Military Command System enterprise architecture, digital engineering, open standards, enterprise mission analysis.
• Willing to travel domestically ~20%.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access; ability to obtain SAP; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide communications systems engineering expertise to AFNWC staff and leadership at multiple bases.
• Engage with senior AFNWC leadership up to SES level Portfolio Acquisition Executive.
• Interface for reach-back activities to ETG workforce at other Aerospace locations.
• Support development, evaluation, and validation of system-level requirements.
• Build bridges for enterprise integration across AFNWC/NC and other commands.
• Coordinate tasks and participate in technical interchange and design reviews.
