Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Shipboard Electrical Technician with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to support MARMC in Norfolk, VA. Onsite role with travel up to 10% and requirement for an active Secret clearance; U.S. citizens only.

Responsibilities include technical supports, readiness assessments, and monthly status reports. A high school diploma or Navy technical training is required, along with 5+ years of relevant electrical experience and SME capability on Navy systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or Navy tech school diploma/certification.
• At least five years of relevant electrical experience with Navy auxiliary equipment.
• Experience as SME for Navy systems/equipment or OEM/industrial equivalent.
• Familiarity with Navy assessment programs, visits, and reporting methods.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and control schematics; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform or support technical assists and shipboard electrical tasks.
• Contribute to Total Ship Readiness Assessments and monthly status reports.
• Support MARMC mission requirements at Norfolk, VA.
