Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC in San Diego, CA seeks an Engineering Technician V (Hydraulics) with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to support SWRMC.

You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain shipboard hydraulic systems, provide Onboard Maintenance Training, and assist with readiness assessments and fleet support. The role is full-time onsite at SWRMC with travel up to 10%, requires a SECRET clearance, and offers a pay rate around $39.78/hour plus health and welfare benefits, contingent on contract award

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 7+ years of recent hands-on Navy auxiliary equipment experience in operation, troubleshooting, repair, and assessment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite support and surge support for Code 254 equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and provide SME support on-site or remotely.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness status.
