Job summary

MSIG USA, a US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group, seeks an experienced Senior Property Claims professional to lead highly complex commercial property claims nationwide from assignment through resolution.

Expected to deploy to loss sites across the United States, you will develop claim strategies, assess coverage, causation, and valuation, and negotiate with insureds, brokers, and adjusters to reach timely, equitable outcomes in line with policy terms and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in insurance, business, risk management, engineering, construction or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible commercial property claim experience, including highly complex or large-loss claims.
• Experience conducting on-site inspections and managing losses with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages highly complex and high-severity commercial property claims from assignment through resolution.
• Deploys to loss locations nationwide for on-site inspections and assessment of damage, causation, and business continuity.
• Develops and executes written claim strategy addressing coverage, valuation, and reserves; updates as facts evolve.
• Negotiates complex property and time-element claims with insureds, brokers and adjusters while protecting MSIG USA interests.
