Qualifications

• CPCU designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability, including reinsurance.
• May facilitate the placement of foreign admitted policies and support global underwriting services.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Travel to meet with agents and brokers to market Travelers products and grow the book of business.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative sales skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with the Managing Director to drive regional growth.
• May assist in training junior Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
