Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Lead MV Switchgear & UPS Field Engineer to command commissioning, startup, testing, and maintenance of critical power systems at customer sites. The role emphasizes leadership in the field, mentoring staff, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will oversee testing of MV switchgear, UPS, batteries, PDUs, STS, and transformers, coordinating with customers and internal teams. Travel is primarily regional with some nights/weekends.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in electrical field service, commissioning, testing, or maintenance.
• Medium-voltage experience 1kV+; 5kV–35kV exposure preferred.
• Experience with MV switchgear, breakers, relays, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Strong UPS and critical-power equipment experience including batteries, PDUs, STS
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and power-system issues.
• Experience with testing equipment and electrical safety standards (NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E).
• Leadership or supervision experience on field deployments.

Aufgaben

• Lead field commissioning, startup, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response for MV and critical-power systems.
• Commission and test MV switchgear, breakers, protective devices, UPS, batteries, PDUs, STS, transformers.
• Develop test procedures, commissioning plans, scripts, and reports.
• Conduct on-site testing while ensuring compliance with project specs and codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and field personnel; provide senior technical guidance.
• Communicate findings and repairs to customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare field service reports and commissioning documentation promptly.
