Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Field Service Technician for Critical Power Systems.

The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing UPS, MV/LV power distribution, switchgear, transformers, battery systems, and related controls across the United States. The candidate should have 2+ years of field service experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel 14 days on, 2-3 days off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience with UPS systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, transformers, generators, ATS, or battery systems.
• Experience in industries such as Data Centers, Critical Facilities, Power Generation, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, or Energy.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics and one-line drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service projects and manage onsite activities independently.
• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair UPS systems and MV/LV distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues involving switchgear, breakers, transfer equipment, battery systems, transformers, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Supervise equipment startup, commissioning, and integrated system testing.
• Coordinate startup schedules with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare service reports and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Travel across the United States on a 14 days on/2-3 days off schedule.
