Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division in Moon Township, PA, is seeking a Senior Engineer - Medium Voltage to lead design engineering from concept through production on the MV circuit breaker line. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site weekly) with relocation assistance for qualified US candidates.

You will develop products, maintain third-party certifications, collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams, and build MV vacuum circuit breaker expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of experience in related field with focus on new product development and design.
• No sponsorship for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Support business growth through team-based new product development and production launch to market.
• Develop strong technical knowledge of circuit breaker products and technology and regulatory standards.
• Lead conceptual and detailed design, development, prototyping, validation and documentation.
• Build prototypes and execute test programs to evaluate designs.
• Design for manufacturability with process controls for cost-effective production.
• Provide design documentation with tolerances and Bills of Materials.
• Lead stage-gate new product development activities and project reviews.
• Improve performance using Six-Sigma tools and simulation; drive product robustness.
• Secure and maintain third-party certifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners including standards bodies.
