Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Mechanical Engineering Specialist at Moon Township, PA with hybrid work (2 days remote). You will drive mechanical design for intelligent circuit protection, power management, and home energy solutions from concept through launch, including DFMA and cost optimization.

You will lead a mechanical engineering team, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to engineering standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in electromechanical product design and development.
• CAD solid modeling and 2D drawings/assembly documentation.
• No sponsorship; must reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA.
• No relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional new product development projects and implementation.
• Serve as the mechanical design owner; make engineering decisions based on analysis and test results.
• Create CAD solid models, perform design simulations, and develop product specifications.
