Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Power Components Division seeks an Electronics Hardware Specialist for a hybrid role in Moon Township, PA. You will design and develop circuit breaker electronics, contribute to product development, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with manufacturing and customer teams.

Role requires strong background in electrical design, EMI/EMC, and experience with embedded hardware. Relocation assistance available for eligible US residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience architecting, designing or developing embedded electronic products.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, testing, or troubleshooting.
• Experience with EMI/EMC design practices.
• Experience using Altium Designer or other schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to hardware design and development of circuit breaker electronics, including analog and digital circuits.
• Develop product specifications with marketing and cross‑functional teams; consider UL/CSA/IEC/NEMA standards.
• Support multiple projects and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery.
• Provide technical support for production and field issues; drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Collaborate on process improvements and mentor team members as needed.
