Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Utility, Sales, & Order Lead Engineer in the United States. The role involves supporting the sales force for medium voltage switchgear, interpreting project plans, configuring products, and preparing technical and commercial proposals.

You will collaborate with Sales, BD, and production teams to ensure proper design, pricing, and delivery while managing multiple projects and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5 years experience in the role or related roles.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 3 years experience in the role or related roles.
• Experience with medium voltage air insulated or gas insulated products and associated components; protection and control systems; project management; and engineering design software (AutoCAD/E-base). Up to 20% travel; remote work permitted.

Responsibilities

• Support sales on MV air/gas insulated switchgear packages; price negotiation within bands.
• Configure systems from plans/specifications and prepare technical/commercial proposals.
• Provide engineering services interpreting drawings/specifications for manufacturing and procurement.
• Coordinate with production, marketing, and field sales; serve as technical liaison with customers.
