AtkinsRéalis in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Municipal Water Resources Engineer to lead municipal water projects, manage client and sub-consultant relationships, and deliver plans, reports, and models.

The role requires a Florida-licensed PE with 10+ years of experience, strong writing and communication skills, and demonstrated leadership in project budgets, schedules and deliverables.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Civil with Water Resources).
• Florida Professional Engineer license with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in project management including budget, schedule, and deliverables.
• Experience with municipalities and water agencies.
• Strong technical writing and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for multiple municipal water projects and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.
• Prepare cost estimates, man-hours, budgets and schedules.
• Review designs and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Coordinate with other engineers and professionals to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Prepare final plans and design reports for approval and present at progress meetings.
• Contribute to or oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modeling work as required.
