AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Municipal Water Resources Engineer for our Tampa, FL office. The role emphasizes project management of municipal water projects, client negotiations, and leading detailed design work with junior staff.

The candidate will oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, cost estimation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver plans and reports for approval, while maintaining high technical and communication standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (civil preferred).
• Florida PE registration with 10+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing municipal water projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Project manager for multiple municipal projects and negotiations with clients/sub-consultants.
• Plans, schedules, billings and reports; coordinates design phases of projects.
• Performs preliminary engineering design and reviews the work of junior staff.
• Coordinates with external clients at progress meetings to meet schedules and goals.
• Prepares cost and man-hour estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Oversees or performs quality control of hydrologic/hydraulic models and reports.
• Prepares final plans, design reports and modeling reports for approval.
• Coordinates work with engineers and professionals across disciplines and support services.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
