Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water/Wastewater Utilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of a municipal water and/or wastewater system. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on process management to ensure safe, reliable service for the community.

You will build client relationships, manage budgets and staff, and represent the company to city leadership, utility boards, and regulators while driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Active highest-level state Water or Wastewater Operator License or reciprocity.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible municipal water/wastewater operations and maintenance.
• Proven success leading municipal utility operations and maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes, regulatory compliance, asset management, and utility operations.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, public utilities, city leadership, and regulators.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for municipal water and/or wastewater operations and maintenance.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
• Serve as senior operational authority and hands-on operator when needed.
• Develop and improve operating procedures, maintenance programs, and performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability, compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
• Present updates to city leadership and regulatory agencies.
