Job summary

Inframark seeks an Assistant Project Manager to oversee day-to-day activities of a team delivering contract operations, maintenance, and management of wastewater treatment plants and lift stations. You will assist with planning capital improvements, budgeting, reporting, and coordinating with the project manager and client to ensure quality service and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wastewater operations experience.
• Active state operator license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Detail-oriented with sound financial and HR decision-making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new plans, programs, and operations to attain higher quality service or cost savings.
• Assist planning major capital improvement needs and funding sources.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and monitor variances.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
• Interview, train, coach, and mentor personnel.
• Assign and schedule work; review for accuracy and clarity.
• Administer progressive discipline to improve performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with project manager and client(s).
• Ensure compliance with City, County, State, and Federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
