Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Certified Floodplain Manager Certification or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide municipal engineering expertise for various projects and coordinate with Village staff.
- Respond to inquiries from Village staff, officials, developers and property owners.
- Serve as resource for administrative, management, and capital projects tasks.
- Collaborate with municipal staff to develop engineering solutions and capital projects.
- Manage capital improvement projects and coordinate with other departments.
- Review development plans for compliance with local requirements.
- Prepare development review reports and support inter-governmental agreements.
- Coordinate grants, loans, and grant applications with agencies.
- Mentor less-experienced Municipal Services Engineers.
