Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Certified Floodplain Manager Certification or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Act as municipal advisor on engineering tasks for the staff and officials.
• Coordinate with Village administrators and staff on infrastructure, development, and regulatory matters.
• Develop and review capital improvement projects and grant applications.
• Prepare development review reports and permits for local projects.
• Mentor less-experienced Municipal Services Engineers.
