Job summary

MPI is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee field execution on large-scale ground-up residential developments in the Columbus market. You will own on-site operations, mentor teams, and drive projects to successful turnover.

The role requires senior-level construction leadership with a track record delivering multifamily and mixed-use projects, strong safety leadership, and the ability to manage complex schedules and budgets across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with several years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role.
• Proven experience leading ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, or large residential projects.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and field management.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing large project teams.
• OSHA certification and demonstrated safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to turnover.
• Manage Assistant Superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and drive project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate trades to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Lead regular jobsite meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control and site logistics.
• Close out projects with inspections and occupancy certificates.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and safety culture.
