MPI is actively seeking a seasoned Superintendent for our Chicago-area multifamily and commercial projects. You will oversee field operations from groundbreaking to completion, coordinate trade partners, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence across complex builds.

The role requires leading large project teams, strong scheduling acumen, and proficiency with Procore and CM software. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for success in this growth‑oriented firm.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Experience on multifamily and commercial projects.
• Proven ability to lead large project teams.
• Strong scheduling and coordination skills.
• Experience with Procore and construction management software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations from groundbreaking through completion.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate trade partners.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Review construction documents and resolve field conflicts.
• Lead inspections and quality control activities.
• Coordinate turnover and punch list completion.
• Partner closely with Project Managers and ownership teams.
