Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead onsite field operations for high-end, ground-up multifamily developments in Connecticut. You will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or lead field manager.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with Procore and Primavera P6 preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and lead complex operations independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily onsite construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractor teams to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Ensure projects meet schedule milestones and are delivered in alignment with budget and design intent.
• Implement and enforce jobsite safety plans, conducting regular inspections to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Drive site logistics, including delivery coordination, manpower allocation, and sequencing of construction activities.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation using Procore and other project management tools.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Consultants, Ownership, and Inspection Authorities to resolve field-related challenges.
• Conduct regular quality assurance walkthroughs and proactively address any issues impacting workmanship or materials.
