Job summary

SunRidge Management Group leads multifamily communities and seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to keep properties safe, clean, and well-maintained. This on-site role supports resident satisfaction and property value through proactive maintenance and hands-on leadership.

You will train and mentor maintenance staff, manage service requests, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining clear records and budgets. This role emphasizes a strong resident-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations
• Proficient in state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• CPO & HVAC certifications required
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends on a rotating on-call schedule
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: maintain inventory, monitor hazards, label utility cut-offs, keep areas clean
• Leadership & Training: mentor maintenance staff, conduct safety meetings, manage service requests
• Maintenance Coordination: schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors
• Resident Relations: respond to concerns, inspect move-ins/outs, foster community
• Compliance & Reporting: keep records, report to corporate, ensure licensing and safety compliance
