Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a multifamily, on-site role. You will oversee maintenance operations, ensure a safe and well-maintained living environment, and mentor maintenance staff to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in multifamily property maintenance.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CPO and HVAC certifications.
• Must be available to work 40 hours/week, including weekends, with rotating on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: maintain maintenance systems and inventory.
• Monitor hazardous conditions and ensure safety across the property.
• Lead training and mentoring of maintenance staff, promoting safety.
• Approve service requests and manage budgets with management approval.
• Coordinate with external vendors and ensure work meets company standards.
• Ensure 24-hour response for work orders and resident service quality.
• Conduct move-in/out inspections and support retention efforts.
• Submit periodic reports to corporate and participate in meetings.
