Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our on-site multifamily communities. You will uphold the physical integrity of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment for residents and staff.

You will lead maintenance staff, train teams, and coordinate preventative maintenance while managing service requests. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance
• Proven leadership and organizational skills for managing staff and daily operations
• Strong knowledge of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, on a rotating on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools and ensure tools are in good condition
• Monitor and correct hazardous conditions across the property (gates, lighting, stairs, etc.) and label utility cut-offs
• Train and mentor maintenance staff and promote a safety-first culture
• Approve and delegate service requests and supervise completion with hands-on support as needed
• Maintain knowledge of the property maintenance budget and obtain approvals for major expenses
• Ensure work orders are completed promptly and coordinate with external vendors as needed
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to corporate and ensure regulatory compliance
