Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity of multifamily communities. This on-site role requires proactive issue resolution, preventative maintenance, and strong leadership to mentor maintenance staff.

Responsibilities include safety, compliance, budget awareness, and coordinating with vendors to meet company standards. Weekend rotation and after-hours on-call may be required to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Knowledge of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and inventory; ensure tools are in good condition.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff; promote a safety-first culture.
• Schedule and coordinate 24/7 on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain property maintenance budget and obtain approvals for major expenses.
• Ensure timely resident service and complete work orders within 24 hours when possible.
