Job summary

SyRES PROPERTIES is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Mercer Island community. You will lead the maintenance team, perform hands-on work orders, and ensure high resident satisfaction through operational excellence and curb appeal.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Facilities, you will coach staff, train on safety and service, manage preventive work, coordinate with vendors, and participate in on-call rotations to handle after-hours needs while adhering to all regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on apartment maintenance experience
• 5+ years in multi-family industry preferred
• 5 years in a supervisory role preferred
• Proficient with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• EPA 608 HVAC certification and CPO preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and schedule maintenance

Responsibilities

• Coach maintenance team and monitor performance vs community goals
• Train maintenance staff on maintenance, safety, and customer service
• Assist with annual budget and bid recommendations
• Ensure compliance with state laws and company policies
• Perform and oversee routine preventative maintenance
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Ensure safety and operational standards in maintenance activities
• Drive locally for property management purposes
