Job summary

Carmel Partners seeks a Senior Project Manager with construction, civil engineering, or related field experience to support the Regional Lead of Construction. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and submittals, while coordinating with onsite teams and the corporate office to keep milestones on track.

The role requires 10+ years in construction, 7+ years in multi-family PM, and strong leadership with safety credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in construction or related field.
• 7+ years in multi-family construction project management.
• 7+ years managing others.
• Experience in podium construction.
• OSHA 30-hour Certification; issued within past three years.
• Current First Aid & CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Manage project buyout and contract negotiations.
• Manage the budget and job cost forecasting.
• Meet financial, budget, and forecasting objectives and requirements.
• Monitor construction schedule, track, and monitor construction progress through site reports.
• Perform onsite inspections to ensure standards are met and construction adheres to plans and specifications.
• Approve contractor invoices and change order requests and ensure costs align with budgets.
• Lead project to timely completion, within scope and budget, and obtain a certificate of occupancy.
• Coordinate with multiple onsite teams, third-party groups, and corporate office departments for effective communication.
• Hire, manage, and direct internal team of Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
