Job summary

Carmel Partners is seeking a Project Manager for the Marina Shores project in Long Beach, CA, to support the Regional Lead of Construction. The role focuses on maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and coordinating with multiple contractors and vendors to ensure successful delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10+ years in construction, 5–7+ years in multi-family project management, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and drug screening requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10+ years’ experience in Construction or related field.
• 5-7+ years’ experience in Multi‑Family Construction Project Management.
• 5‑7+ years’ experience managing others.
• Experience in wrap & podium construction a must.
• OSHA 30-hour Certification; First Aid & CPR training within past three years.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen after conditional offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project buyout and contract negotiations.
• Manage the budget and job cost forecasting.
• Meet financial, budget, and forecasting objectives and report to senior management.
• Monitor construction schedule and track progress through site reports.
• Perform onsite inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders.
