Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate asset management, loan servicing, or underwriting, with a strong multifamily focus.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex GSE servicing transactions and borrower requests.
• Deep familiarity with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac asset management frameworks and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Leadership: lead review, structuring, and approval of complex borrower requests per loan documents and agency guidelines.
• Exercise delegated approval authority on transactions and escalate as needed.
• Oversee sophisticated requests such as loan modifications, maturity extensions, and collateral reconfigurations.
• Partner with legal and agency representatives on non-routine transactions.
• Maintain oversight of portfolio segments for credit performance and risk trends.
• Lead watchlist discussions and asset-level strategies.
• Review financial performance, trends, and market conditions to assess credit risk.
• Ensure adherence to agency requirements, reporting obligations, and internal controls.
• Mentor junior asset managers and contribute to a scalable team framework.
