Job summary

Collins Aerospace Mission Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the Test Engineering Design Services team through all program phases. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver testing solutions, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and present program reviews to customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive cost and schedule performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience across multiple phases of a program life cycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply integrated project management, technical processes, earned value, and risk management.
• Review customer requirements and SOWs to determine project scope.
• Lead Test Engineering bid efforts and develop bid deliverables.
• Develop program execution plans and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Execute projects meeting requirements, budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Lead project reviews with team and customers.
• Create and review technical documents for submittal to customers.
• Track and analyze earned value metrics to adjust staffing/schedule.
