Collins Aerospace is seeking a qualified engineer to design and develop automated test systems for product engineering and manufacturing. You will design test hardware and software, coordinate design reviews, and create test solutions that maximize coverage in manufacturing and service environments.

The role involves lab setup, documentation, and support across the product lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.

Formación

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with automated test systems and test hardware/software development.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop automated test systems, including test hardware and software, to support product engineering and manufacturing.
• Coordinate test equipment design reviews and ensure the generation of appropriate design documentation.
• Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and service environments.
• Integrate equipment and set up labs for testing activities.
• Create and release engineering documentation to support test system development and deployment.
• Support the engineering product lifecycle from requirements through maintenance.
• Research specifications for COTS components and perform selection trade studies.
