Job summary

FedEx Office in the United States is seeking a Group Manager, Mail Operations to lead on-site mailrooms, drive process improvements, and manage SLAs across multiple locations. This hands-on leader will mentor Mail Services Managers, promote data-driven practices, and ensure safety, compliance, and exceptional service.

The role is hybrid, based in Tysons or Richmond, VA, with travel to sites as needed; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics/business management or equivalent.
5+ years in operations management, preferably mailroom/logistics.
2-3 years managing other managers or supervisors.
Knowledge of mailroom operations and postal regulations.
Proficiency with metrics like processing time and error rates.
Experience with mailroom software and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

Directly manage and mentor on-site Mail Services Managers.
Monitor SLAs, mail processing, accuracy and response times.
Define and monitor KPIs: mail volume, processing time, cost-per-piece, error rates.
Oversee training programs on SOPs, technology use, and security.
Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to leadership and clients.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and employment laws.
